  7. The Voter Registration System handles the voter registration needs of county
  8. governments. This system complies with Tennessee state reporting requirements.
  9. This software is fully menu-driven, realtime, with complete online help to
  10. minimize training requirements. Access is determined by user ID at the
  11. procedure level for most procedures, and at the field level for update
  12. procedures. Multiple printers are supported for different types of paper stock.
  13. The Voter Registration System maintains voter histories, issues voter
  14. registration cards, produces a mail merge file for voter confirmation letters,
  15. handles the absentee cycle, automatically purges inactive voters, prints many
  16. types of segmented voter lists, and prints mailing labels. Purged voters are
  17. kept online to answer questions on election days. Odd Social Security numbers,
  18. Property Rights voters, and birth dates prior to 1900 are handled. In addition,
  19. a special module assists in reorganizing city voting districts.
